Visited on 8/9/17. Unmissable exhibition "Threads of Resistance". Don't leave w/o visiting the shop. Great deals on offcuts of fine fabrics.

I love seeing history through domestic arts - women may not have had the vote but politics were represented in their handiwork. Seeing the evolution of quilts from practical reusing of scraps elevated to art is fascinating. Very friendly staff, welcoming, helpful. Plenty of parking on street.
